This is a painting of one of my own original characters from one of the stories I am working on. The piece was created to not only develop her design, but to also practice dynamic posing and a new method of painting I have recently developed.
For the pose I used myself as a reference, to help understand the proper proportions and space. For the rendering/painting I used a brush called “Dry Ink” and with the same brush type, used the blending tool. This giving the final work a nice texture.
